Every Certificate of Burn contains a soul. When you sent DOM into the fire and the blockchain returned you a cert — it didn't just record a transaction. It recorded a fighter. One whose power, speed, and elemental affinity were forged in the exact moment of that burn, derived from a hash seed that no one can change, ever.
The DOM Arena is where those fighters meet. You pick your cert. You name your opponent. You pay 10 DOM to ignite the match. The outcome is determined by the numbers already locked into the blockchain — no randomness, no manipulation, no admin keys. Just math, executed publicly, in front of everyone.
Every battle burns 10 DOM forever. Win or lose, the supply shrinks. The fire does not care who wins. It only grows.
Step one: Connect your wallet. You need a wallet that holds DOM Certificates — the same wallet you used to burn DOM on the DOM app. Plug, NFID, and Internet Identity are all supported.
Step two: Select your fighter. Once connected, your certificates appear in the fighter panel. Each cert carries a serial number, an elemental class, and a rarity tier. Choose the one that represents you. A highlighted border confirms your selection.
Step three: Load your opponent. Enter any valid cert serial number — any certificate that has ever been minted. You can challenge a legendary cert you've been eyeing in the marketplace, a friend's cert, or the most powerful cert in existence. The opponent cert is fetched directly from the ICP blockchain. If it exists, it enters the ring.
Step four: Pay the burn and fight. Clicking Challenge — Burn 10 DOM sends 10 DOM to the etch canister permanently. The battle resolves instantly. A cert cannot battle itself. Results are recorded in the Hall of Champions.
A cert's serial number is its identity. DOM-00001 is always DOM-00001. Its stats never change. Its element never shifts. You are not gambling on randomness — you are wagering on immutable truth.
Every certificate belongs to one of five elemental classes, determined at mint by its hash seed. Elements form a circular advantage system — each one counters exactly one other, and is countered by exactly one other. An element advantage gives the holder a 20% combat score boost.
Combat score is calculated as base score × rarity multiplier, then adjusted by element advantage. Base score = Power + Speed + a third derived value. Ties break first by Speed, then by Power, then by the lower serial number — the rarer, older cert wins.
The Forge Wheel has graduated. It now lives at its own address, with its own economics: THE SPARK — every spin burns 2 DOM forever, and adds 8 to the prize pool. Cert-gated. Jackpot winners earn a permanent trophy on Arcade.
